VINNIE Jones will appear on The X Factor: Celebrity when launches on ITV this October, with Simon Cowell as a judge.

What is Vinnie Jones’ singing experience?

Vinnie Jones has previous experience starring in a singing contest and appeared on Top of the Pops in 2002.

Now, he will take to the stage once more but this time for The X Factor: Celebrity, which is also starring Love Actually actress Olivia Olson.

The father-of-two started out as a footballer and played for Chelsea, Leeds United, Wimbledon and Queens Park Rangers, among others.

Vinnie, 54, was born Vincent Peter Jones on January 5, 1965 in Watford, England.

What are Vinnie Jones’ biggest films?

The movie star’s biggest films include Snatch, Mean Machine, X-Men: The Last Stand and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

His other credits include Gone in 60 Seconds, The Midnight Meat Train, Redirected, The Condemned, and Locked Down, among others.

He also had the starring role in Kill Kane, as Ray Brookes and The Riddle in which he played Mike Sullivan

What TV shows has Vinnie Jones been in?

Vinnie has featured in a number of television shows and has even fronted a couple of programmes in the past.

He presented Vinnie Jones’ Toughest Cops USA in 2008 and Vinnie Jones’ Russia’s Toughest in 2013.

The actor starred in the TV series Arrow from 2015 to 2018 and played Gareth in Galavant between 2015 and 2016.

Other TV roles include his portrayal of Gunter Gastafsen in 2018’s Deception and Scales in The Cape in 2010.

What reality shows has Vinnie Jones’ starred in?

He famously appeared in the 7th series of Celebrity Big Brother and even celebrated his 45th birthday in the notorious house.

Vinnie finished in third place in 2010, despite being one of the favourites to win the show going into the house.

Katie Prices former spouse Alex Reid won the series and singer Dan Jones was the runner-up.

Does Vinnie Jones have a wife and kids?

Vinnie’s wife Tanya died at the age of 53 at her home in Los Angeles on July 6 2019 following a six-year battle with cancer.

At the time his spokesman told The Sun: “At 8.46am local time in Los Angeles on Saturday July 6, Vinnie Jones‘ wife, Tanya Jones, passed away after a long illness.

“Tanya passed peacefully at the Jones family home surrounded by Vinnie, their daughter and other family members.

“Vinnie and the family ask for privacy while they go through an understandable period of mourning during this devastating time.”

Vinnie and Tanya tied the knot in Watford in 1994 and renewed their vows after 13 years of marriage at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas.

They have a daughter together named Kaley and he also has a son called Aaron from his previous relationship.

When does The X Factor: Celebrity start?

The start date for the celebrity version of X Factor has not yet been confirmed by ITV, however it is thought to start in October.

It’s likely to begin the weekend after Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions ends – with this in mind it could be Saturday October 12, 2019.

The usual X Factor series would have already began by now – but has been replaced by the BGT spin-off show.
