They’ve not performed together for over a decade but the Pussycat Dolls have officially confirmed that is all about to change as they are reuniting for a comeback tour.

Discussing whose idea it was to reunite, X-Factor judge Nicole Sherzinger admitted that it was their manager, Robin Antin, who was keen to get the performers back together again,

‘Robin has wanted to bring us back for years now. It’s been a minute since we’ve been together,’ she said.

‘We all went through our own journeys and we’ve lived a lot of lives since then. I’m definitely in a different place so I’m excited to see what we create.’

Who is in the Pussycat Dolls?

Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton, and Kimberly Wyatt were the six original members of the Pussycat Dolls when the group first formed in 2003.

Although the group have reunited for a comeback tour, the band has reformed without one original member – Melody Thornton – who has chosen not to join her former bandmates for the reunion, despite expressing interest in the girl band reuniting earlier this year.

Although Carmit Bachar originally split from the group in 2008 to pursue a solo career – one year before the band announced a minor hiatus followed by an official break-up – the performer is back with the band now for their reunion.

‘I think all of us were excited and nervous, not knowing what it would be like but knowing it would only take a moment to sink back in, and it did,’ Carmit told Richard Arnold in an interview with Good Morning Britain.
