The Masked Singer fans have been taking to social media with their theories on who Bagpipes could be and reckon it could be one of Scotland’s most famous actors.
For the first time the ITV show has a Scottish themed disguise with one contestant dressed up as a set of pipes, with fans at a loss as to who could be under the mask.
But after tonight’s rendition of Blur’s ‘Song 2’, some think they may have cracked the code and worked out who it could be.
Some reckon Doctor Who star David Tennant took on the Brit Pop classic, while others, including the judges, think the characters dulcet tones belonged to Bodyguard hearthrob Richard Madden.
Others guess include tennis legends Pat Cash and John McEnroe, TV comic Harry Hill and Friends star David Schwimmer.
The American star once played a set of pipes terribly on an episode of the iconic sitcom.
And another agreed: “I think Bagpipes is David Tennant definitely”
While a third wrote: “If that’s Richard Madden… I’ll blow those bagpipes.”
Sadly, Bagpipes’ performance didn’t go down with all the viewers, as they were left to battle it out against Snow Leopard and Rockhopper in the bottom three.
Snow Leopard was given their marching orders, with TV legend Gloria Hunniford revealed as the celebrity under the mask.
But those online thought Bagpipes should have gone instead.
One said: “WHAT THE ACTUAL 8:52! BAGPIPES IS THE BL***Y WORST.”
While another commented: “I feel like bagpipes should of gone and snow leopard should of stayed.”
And a user posted: “how did bagpipes get through x”.
The new series of The Masked Singer premiered on Saturday night (Jan 1) and saw Chandelier be revealed as Heather Small as she was unmasked.
