When is The Polar Express on TV for Christmas 2019?

Calling all festive film fans – The Polar Express is returning to the small screen this Christmas.

Christmas provides the perfect excuse for some much-needed escapism and what better way to take a break from reality than with an animated classic starring America’s sweetheart?

Tom Hanks plays multiple roles in The Polar Express, which follows a young boy’s eventful journey to the North Pole to see Santa Claus.

If you fancy cuddling up on the sofa and basking in that kind of soothing festive cheer then you’re in the right place because we know where and when you can tune in to The Polar Express.

When will The Polar Express be on TV this year?

The 2004 Christmas classic, based on the book by Chris Van Allsbur, will be shown on Sky Cinema from 4:30pm on 14 December.

So if you’re a Sky customer, you’ll be able to download the movie and watch it whenever you like over the Christmas period.

On top of that, The Polar Express is also being shown at select Empire Cinemas today, with screening starting from 4pm, so if you get a shift on, you can still get tickets.
