When is Keith Flint's funeral? Prodigy fans will 'raise the roof' for rocker today


Fans of Keith Flint have been invited to ‘raise the roof’ ahead of a private funeral service later today.

A tweet from The Prodigy’s official Twitter page shared a map of a procession route that fans can line on the approach to the church where the rocker will be laid to rest.

The service, which is just for family and close friends, will be held this afternoon at 3.30pm, with the procession starting at 3pm in Braintree, Essex.

Keith, was just 49 when he was found dead at his home in Essex on March 4, with an inquest into finding the legendary frontman’s cause of death was hanging.

His tragic passing sent shockwaves around the world after the sad news was confirmed at the beginning of this month.

Fans have been invited to ‘raise the roof’ ahead of Keith’s funeral service

Following the inquest on March 11th, his family planned the service to help celebrate Keith’s life.

Many fans are expected to flock to the procession today and will be able to hear the ceremony outside the church.

The tweet read: “Fans are invited to line the procession route, starting at 3pm in Braintree, Essex on Fri 29th March, to pay their final respects & ‘raise the roof’ for Keef!

“If anyone wishes to lay flowers or tributes these should be sent to St Mary’s church in Bocking, no later than 2pm Friday.”

Another tweet followed: “The church service will just be for family and close friends, but there will be speakers relaying the ceremony outside the church for everyone to hear.”

After his death was announced Keith’s heartbroken bandmate Liam Howlett attempted to give fans some answers about what happened.

In a post on social media, he wrote: “The news is true, I can’t believe I’m saying this but our brother Keith took his own life over the weekend.

“I’m shell shocked, f**kin angry , confused and heart broken ….. r.i.p brother.”
