Taylor Swift has put paid to weeks of speculation after confirming that she is one of the headline acts at Glastonbury 2020.

Here’s what you need to know…

When is Glastonbury 2020?

The 50th anniversary Glastonbury Festival will take place at Worthy Farm from 24-28 June.

Tickets for the festival sold out in minutes, although there will be a resale in April if you didn’t get them the first time.

The coach resale will take place on Thursday 16 April, followed by the main resale, on Sunday 19 April 2020.

While the festival may be turning 50 in 2020, it only took place intermittently throughout the 70s before becoming an annual event in 1981.

Since then it has been held most years, although takes a break every few years to allow the ground to recover from being trampled by revellers.
