CELEBRITY Apprentice is returning to BBC One TONIGHT, and fans can’t wait for it.

The series is to benefit Comic Relief. But, how does it work, and when does it all kick off? Let’s get the full lowdown…

When does Celebrity Apprentice start on BBC One?

Celebrity Apprentice for Comic Relief will be on our screens TONIGHT on March 7, 2019.

The hour-long episode will be broadcasted on BBC one at 9 pm.

The 2019 edition promises a star-studded line-up and lots of giggles.

The Celebrity Apprentice first aired in 2007 with Comic Relief Does The Apprentice.

The series featured Piers Morgan, Alastair Campbell, Cheryl Cole, Danny Baker, Jo Brand, Karren Brady, Maureen Lipman, Ross Kemp, and Trinny Woodall.

In 2008, it was Sport Relief Does The Apprentice, featuring Phil Tufnell, Nick Hancock, Lembit Öpik, Kelvin MacKenzie, Hardeep Singh Kohli, Lisa Snowdon, Jacqueline Gold, Louise Redknapp, Clare Balding, and Kirstie Allsopp.

The last series to air in 2009 starred Alan Carr, Jack Dee, Gerald Ratner, Jonathan Ross, Gok Wan, Michelle Mone, Patsy Palmer, Fiona Phillips, Carol Vorderman, and Ruby Wax.

Who’s in the line-up of Celebrity Apprentice 2019?

There’s a string of famous faces set to go head-to-head with Alan Sugar, including:

Davina has made the decision to sign-up after reportedly turning down big money offers from shows including Strictly Come Dancing.

Speaking of the hiring, a source told the Daily Star Sunday: “Davina is very picky about what television projects she does.

“But she was keen to be involved because she loves the show and wanted to raise money for charity.”

 

How does the Comic Relief series work?

Celebrity Apprentice raises funds for Comic Relief – and it comes almost a decade since the last series.

It sees various celebrities take on various tasks to impress Lord Sugar, and eventually win.

Previous contestants have included Cheryl Cole, Ruby Wax, Alan Carr, and current show expert Karren Brady.
