JESSICA Shears and Dom Lever met in the Love Island villa in 2017 and the lovebirds have gone on to become man and wife.
Here’s everything you need to know about their wedding and when they are expecting their first child…
When did Dom Lever and Jessica Shears get married?
The couple’s first wedding came on Good Morning Britain in a bizarre ceremony overseen by Jeremy Kyle on Valentin’e Day 2018 where they were ‘married’ by Richard Arnold.
However, the reality TV stars had a proper wedding months later in October at a stunning ceremony on the Greek Island of Mykonos.
Dom told OK! magazine: “People said we wouldn’t last but now we’re husband and wife. We’re proof that when you meet the right person, there’s no need to hang around.”
After the wedding, the couple returned to their new home in Devon which they moved to earlier in 2018 to focus on their relationship.
When is Dom and Jess’s baby due?
On May 15, 2019 the couple announced they are expecting their first child together.
They each posted the same picture of their child’s ultrasound scan flanked by Polaroids of them cradling their ‘bumps’.
Jess and Dom don’t quite take the title of having the first Love Island baby – with Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey’s son Freddie George born in 2017.
What happened to Dom and Jess on Love Island?
Dom got with Jess on the first day of Love Island.
They became the first couple to have sex on the show, after Dom wrote a soppy poem for her.
Despite a little wobble when Dom upset Jess by telling her he preferred her naked, they stayed together after the second recoupling.
After just over two weeks, Jessica was dumped from the villa by the boys in a shocking twist of fate that also saw new boy Mike get booted.
While on the show Dom was told that Jess hooked up with Mike Thalassitis. But he didn’t want to believe it.
After they returned to England, Dom and Jess’s relationship went from strength to strength.
When did Jessica Shears and Dom Lever get engaged?
The loved-up duo got engaged at the beginning of September 2017 – after a whirlwind romance.
Dom got down on one knee and popped the question in London.
“Dom filled it with flowers and had got us a bottle of champagne … I was grinning like a Cheshire Cat when Dom got down on one knee – he said afterwards that he had never seen me smile like that!”
Dom was initially planning to propose abroad but realised there was no time to book a holiday due to their work commitments and he was so desperate to get engaged.
He explained: “If I’d waited I don’t know when it would have had time to do it because we’re so busy at the moment. It felt like the right time.”
