Ireland host Scotland to get their 2020 Six Nations campaigns underway.

It is a new era of Irish rugby with Andy Farrell stepping up from assistant to take over from Joe Schmidt as head coach.

Both will be aiming to improve from their 2019 tournaments – with Ireland finishing third behind Wales and England, while Scotland only won once to finish second from bottom.

Neither had World Cup’s to shout home about either, with Ireland finishing second behind Japan in their Pool before getting thrashed by New Zealand.

That was still a step up from Scotland, who ended up third in that group.

When is the game and where’s it being played?

Kick off for the second game of the 2020 Six Nations is at 4.45pm GMT on February 1, the opening day of this year’s championship.

The two sides will go head-to-head at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. Scotland were demolished 28-8 when they last visited in during the 2018 Six Nations.
