The rescheduled Wembley dates are part of their 2018 reunion tour, which was sadly cut short following the pandemic.

Not all is lost, as fans still have another chance to see them at the new Wembley dates.

The band have announced they’ll be performing at Wembley August 21-22 with tickets available from Ticketmaster now.

To give it back to key workers, the band are also generously offering 1,000 free tickets to key worker Sun readers to enjoy a long overdue — and well deserved — knees-up, which will appear in today’s paper.

Speaking to Sun Showbiz reporter Simon Boyle, frontman Shane Filan explains: “We were just chatting about things, and realised it’s not just for us this Wembley gig — it’s the first gig in two years at that huge stadium.

“It’s massive for us, but also a big moment after everything that has gone on in the world over the past two years.

“It has been a really sad time for some people so we felt giving some tickets to front-line staff was a way that we could turn this gig into us giving something back to those people.

“Hopefully it will be a wonderful celebration.”

If you’re interested in going, then good news, here’s everything you need to know.
