Watch Harry Styles Torment Dorky Older Brother in Unaired ‘Saturday Night Live’ Sketch

Harry Styles plays a super cool, yet secretly insecure, little brother in a bonus sketch that was cut from his recent episode of Saturday Night Live.

In the bit, Styles plays a popular jock named Jason whose friends terrorize his nerdy older brother Scotty (Kyle Mooney). After Jason’s friends dump two milkshakes on his head, Scotty launches into a dorky rap song in which he bemoans Jason’s athletic prowess, underage drinking and the outsized affection he gets from their mom (there’s also a goofy, non-sequitur verse about animals from Scotty’s friend, Colby, played by Chris Redd).

Jason then comes back to apologize to Scotty and invite him to see a movie, launching into a rap of his own where he celebrates Scotty’s artistic talents while still humble-bragging about how much sex he’s had (“Back to sex, such a good feeling/Call me pig boy cause you know I be squealing”). Then to add insult to injury, Jason changes his mind and invites Colby to the movie instead.

Styles served as both the host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live, notably debuting a new song, “Watermelon Sugar,” from his upcoming LP, Fine Line.

The episode also featured a sketch in which Styles played a social media manager for Sara Lee Bread who keeps mixing up his personal Instagram with the brand’s and posting increasingly thirsty and depressing comments. The bit prompted a response from Sara Lee, which said, “We didn’t participate in creating the skit and its content doesn’t align with Sara Lee Bread’s brand. But, we all know SNL pushes the envelope for laughs and we are taking it in stride.”
