Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler have reportedly split.
The couple of almost nine years allegedly broke up in late 2019 but now it is official, a source told Us Weekly.
‘Vanessa and Austin are officially broken up, and Vanessa has been telling those close to her about their breakup,’ the insider said about the actors that first started seeing each other in September 2011.

When the two did not seem to spend the holidays together, fans worried they were over.
Butler, 28, and Hudgens, 31, were not together on New Year’s Eve, it seems.
And when she went to Vals, Switzerland, he could not be seen in her photos in the snow. Austin was also apparently absent on her birthday on December 13.

The last time they were seen together was on Halloween.
She told the November 2018 issue of Women’s Health that she was in no rush to wed.
‘I want to get married, travel, then have kids — probably in my late 30s,’ she explained at the time. ‘Everyone’s clock is different.’
Vanessa dated her High School Musical costar Zac Efron from 2005 to 2010.

The two first met on the set of High School Musical in 2005 when she was still with Efron.
But they did not start dating until 2011 when they were caught kissing in Miami.
In July 2012 they went public at the premiere of her film Journey 2: The Mysterious Island – the two were arm in arm as they looked like the next big Hollywood power couple.
Over the next eight years, the two often posed together on red carpets at Hollywood events as they held hands and smooched much to the delight of their fans, and also traveled together, documenting their escapes on social media.
When his mother died in September 2014, she was by his side; and when her father passed in the summer of 2015, he was there for her.

In July 2019, he praised Hudgens for being an inspiration to him. ‘It’s hard for me to even put into words what that girl means to me,’ he told E! News at the time. ‘I am so inspired by her every day and I just love her to my core.’
In October 2019 the two celebrated Halloween together – she dressed up as a character from the film Ghostbusters.
Austin has been filming a movie for director Baz Luhrmann in which he plays rock star Elvis Presley. Olivia DeJonge is the actress who is playing his wife Priscilla Presley.
