Ulrika Jonsson opens up about only having sex once in eight years on Loose Women

Ulrika Jonsson discussed her failed relationship with husband Brian Monet on Loose Women today.

The former Gladiators star said she had to end the marriage due to a lack of intimacy between herself and Brian.

Ulrika, 52, told the Loose Women cast they had sex once in eight years.

She told Ruth Langsford and the rest of the panel: “I was interested [in sex].

“I tried hard in intervals to bring the subject up.

“It was a great concern of mine.”

Ulrika confessed that she barely instigated sex as she was scared of being rejected.

She continued: “I only instigated it a few times, I couldn’t bare the rejection.”

Ruth asked what the reason was that Brian didn’t want to have sex.

Ulrika replied: “I don’t know.

“I don’t know if he didn’t want to tell me or he didn’t know himself.

“I still haven’t had an answer.”

Ulrika also said she “didn’t want to die never having intimacy ever again”.

However, she said she doesn’t quite know how to go about seeking a new partner these days.

The star also discussed rumours she’s going in to the I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! jungle.

Ulrika said she would have rather have done Strictly Come Dancing, but her children said that was for “old people”.
