BRITAIN faces a nationwide “strike” by five million TUC members in support of eco-warrior Greta Thunberg.
A “Corbynista” union wants the TUC to back calls for a 30-minute “workday solidarity stoppage” on September 20 over climate change.

The Swedish teenager has called for a student walkout on the same day.
The call by the University and College Union could see waves of rail workers, bus drivers, civil servants, academics and factory staff stop work.
It is listed in a preliminary agenda for TUC Congress next month.
The UCU — led by miner’s daughter Jo Grady — demands the TUC back Labour’s call to tax the wealthy to help meet the cost of cutting emissions.
And it demands: “The TUC call a 30-minute workday solidarity stoppage to coincide with the global school student strike on 20 September.”
Critics said last night the stoppage could be illegal, given there were not likely to be ballots to support the action.
A union source added: “This shows how far the Labour movement is losing its marbles.
“The TUC used to be where people debated serious policy.”
Chris Snowdon, of the Institute of Economic Affairs, said: “If we are to reduce carbon emissions we need serious policies, not empty gestures.”
The UCU was praised by Jeremy Corbyn last year after taking university workers out on strike in a row over pensions.
