Tyrone Mings gets England call-up from Southgate for Euro 2020 qualifiers

Tyrone Mings and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have been called into the England squad by Gareth Southgate for the Euro 2020 qualifiers at home to Bulgaria and Kosovo.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is also among the players selected by Southgate, who has not called up Kyle Walker but has included Mason Mount and James Maddison among his options in midfield.

Mings has been rewarded for a strong start to the season at Aston Villa, who signed the central defender from Bournemouth this summer for £26.5m after he helped them to promotion on loan last season.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has been recalled after a long absence because of injury.

England play Bulgaria at Wembley a week on Saturday and against Kosovo in Southampton three days later.
