Transfer news LIVE: Real Madrid open Aubameyang talks, Haaland Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool

Jose Mourinho not concerned

Jose Mourinho is not worried about Chelsea’s transfer ban being lifted.

“I’m not worried with that,” he said. “First, I’m not looking to the distance from Chelsea.

“Between us and Chelsea [there are] still two or three teams, so we cannot look so high and so far.

“Second – even with the transfer ban lifted, it is not easy to get better players than they have. They have very good players.

“Even with the ban gone and a hypothetical multi-million budget, I’m not sure they can get much better players than they have.”

Man Utd get Erling Haaland boost

Manchester United’s hopes of signing Erling Braut Haaland have been given a huge boost. Bayern Munich have reportedly decided against making a move for the young striker.

Haaland has been linked with a host of teams throughout Europe, as he appears set to leave Red Bull Salzburg.

The 19-year-old has been on fire this season, having scored 15 goals in 13 league games.

Haaland played under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Molde, and therefore it was believed that the striker would favour a move to United so he could reunite with his old boss.

But United will face stiff competition for his signature, with Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, Juventus and Manchester City all believed to be interested.

Real Madrid in talks with Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Arsenal are facing battle to keep hold of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as Real Madrid have opened talks with representatives of the Gabon international.

The Spanish giants are ready to offer the Gunners a swap deal involving Luka Jovic.

Transfer expert Duncan Castles has revealed all on the mega swap deal Real Madrid have planned.

He told the Transfer Window podcast: “There’s some information I have that Real Madrid have been looking at whether they can get Aubameyang out of Arsenal and have entered into discussions with his representatives to that effect.
