Ian Wright wants Arsenal to sign Daniele De Rossi.

The Gunners legend believed the Roma midfielder, who is now available on a free transfer, could prove useful and impart wisdom to youngster like Joe Willock.

“Arsenal need to bring in De Rossi from Roma!” he wrote on Twitter.

“We’ll get 15 games out of him, it won’t cost hardly any money, and the experience he could pass on to the likes of Willock and the other youngsters could be invaluable and money well spent.”

Paul Pogba can be replaced by Leicester’s James Maddison if the Frenchman goes to Real Madrid, says transfer expert Duncan Castles.

“I think if Manchester United can get a deal in place for James Maddison, that would be a very good way for them to go forward,” Castles told The Transfer Window podcast.

“He had a very good first season in the Premier League, he’s English which is a huge attraction to any Premier League team, he could add that creativity in midfield.

“I think importantly he could be the player to replace a lot of the creativity they’ll lose if Real Madrid get their way and sign Paul Pogba this summer.”

Jurgen Klopp has rubbished claims linking him with the Bayern Munich job.

The Liverpool boss, who led his side to Champions League glory on Saturday, was tipped for the Bundesliga role by Bayern legend Franz Beckenbaeur.

However, Klopp told German newspaper BILD: ‘I like Franz — and he likes me. But I have a long-term contract at Liverpool.

“I would rather he said that than him saying and thinking that I cannot. Bayern and Borussia Dortmund have very good coaches. And what could be in five years or more, I do not know.”

The Frenchman, 23, could come in to replace David de Gea whose contract situation at Old Trafford is still unresolved.

And The Daily Record claim they have now enquired about Maignan because if the uncertainty surrounding their star’s future.

Manchester United and Manchester City are embroiled in a £120million tug of war with Real Madrid for Portugal starlet Joao Felix.

Both Premier League clubs will have scouts watching Benfica teenager Felix in Portugal’s Nations League semi-final against Switzerland in Porto on Wednesday night.

Benfica want around £120million for Portugal’s latest footballing sensation, who United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has targeted as he begins the rebuilding of his team after a disappointing season.

But Solskjaer faces fierce competition from Real Madrid, who are desperate to land the Benfica teenager – as well as City and Juventus.

That’s according to The Times, who claim Chinese Super League sides Guangzhou Evergrande and Shanghai SIPG are readying a lucrative contract offers.

It’s claimed the pair will offer the 29-year-old a £300,000-a-week contract – £110,000 more then his current wages in north London.

Arsenal’s failure to qualify for the Champions League means they will need to cut their outgoings and Aubameyang could be allowed to leave the Emirates Stadium.

Real Madrid want Eden Hazard signed up as soon as possible, according to Goal.

The Bernabeu side are eager to get the transfer over the line sooner rather than later and have sent a representative to London to meet with Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia.

Negotiations between the two clubs have been ongoing for months but Real Madrid want to make an announcement this week after agreeing a price.

Chelsea want £115million for the Belgian international, while Real hope to pay £89m.
