11am UPDATE: Nicolas Pepe wanted by Man Utd

Manchester United have soared above their rivals in the race to sign Lille hotshot Nicolas Pepe, reports say.

Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal have all been linked with a move for Pepe this summer following the winger’s remarkable campaign last season.

The Ivory Coast international was in devastating form over in Ligue 1, hitting 22 goals from 38 league games while also chipping in with 11 assists.

Manchester United have already signed one winger in the form of Daniel James but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is craving more as he targets Premier League glory.

And the Times say the Red Devils have moved ahead of their rivals in the race to sign Pepe this summer.

The 24-year-old has been tipped to join Arsenal amid their failure to sign Wilfried Zaha.

And Liverpool have also been linked, with Jurgen Klopp eager for more firepower in order to win the Premier League title.

The report claims that, last week, United advanced a long-standing interest in the forward.

10.40am UPDATE: Man Utd plot Paulo Dybala bid

Manchester United are set to make a stunning bid to bring Paulo Dybala to Old Trafford this summer as Ed Woodward looks to continue his spending spree.

Manchester United could land Juventus forward Paulo Dybala in the coming weeks for under £100million as both clubs continue a reshuffle of their playing squads.

Argentina international Dybala joined the Turin giants in 2015 for a fee of £35million from former Serie A rivals Palermo.

The 25-year-old enjoyed three fine seasons at the club scoring a total of 68 goals, but saw his form drop last time out after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Italian outlet Calcio Mercato have now claimed that due to Dybala’s growing frustration, he has instructed his brother and agent Mariano to make contact with United, PSG and Bayern Munich.

10.20am UPDATE: Alex Iwobi on Wilfried Zaha to Arsenal

Arsenal’s proposed deal to sign Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace will add ‘more stress’ to Alex Iwobi in his attempts to become a crucial player at the club, he claims.

“I am not one to chicken out,” Iwobi told The Sun.

“I have had it all over the years, being told I’m not good enough.

“So whenever the chance comes I always try and prove I should be starting.

“But it’s going to be difficult if Zaha comes. He will add more stress.

“I am up for the fight but the only time I would consider leaving is if I am not playing as much as I would like to.”

10am UPDATE: Man Utd facing Bruno Fernandes competition

Paris Saint-Germain are showing interest in Manchester United transfer target Bruno Fernandes, it has been claimed.

The Sporting star is wanted by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he looks to overhaul his squad this summer.

Bot now the Daily Mail claim Fernandes has been offered to various clubs with PSG considering a bid for the midfielder.

The 24-year-old scored 23 goals last season and as a result Sporting are demanding £55million for him.

9.30am UPDATE: Arsenal closing in

Arsenal boss Unai Emery is reportedly preparing a third bid for Kieran Tierney but is also nearing deals for William Saliba and Dani Ceballos.

The Spaniard has already had two bids for Tierney rejected by Celtic, though Goal claim a third offer is coming.

And the same report adds that the Gunners are hoping to wrap up a move for Ceballos having sealed a deal for Saliba.

It’s claimed that Arsenal have seen off competition from Tottenham for Saliba and have agreed a £27million fee.

The teenage defender will reportedly sign a five-year deal from French side Saint-Etienne.

The signing of Ceballos is set to be finalised in the coming days with the Real Madrid midfielder currently on holiday.

Liverpool are weighing up joining Barcelona in the race to land £18million rated Augsburg left-back Philipp Max.

Jurgen Klopp is looking for someone to back up Scotland international Andrew Robertson after Alberto Moreno’s departure to Spanish outfit Villarreal.

Max, 25, came through the Bayern Munich youth academy and is the son of former German international striker Martin, who was a silver medalist at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

He has attracted the interest of his fellow countryman Klopp after earning a reputation as one of the most consistent full-backs in the Bundesliga over the last couple of seasons.

Barca are also in the market to strengthen the left-hand side of their defence this summer and Max is on their shortlist as well.

8.30am UPDATE: Chelsea loan exit close

Chelsea ace Ethan Ampadu is reportedly close to joining RB Leipzig having completed a medical at the Bundesliga club.

Chelsea have a transfer ban this summer, meaning they can’t bring anyone into the club.

But new Blues boss Frank Lampard is still keen to make his mark and round off his squad.

Ampadu did not travel with Chelsea to Japan for their pre-season tour amid speculation over his future.

And the Guardian now claim that Ampadu had a medical with Leipzig on Friday ahead of a season-long loan.
