08:10 UPDATE: Rangers transfer statement

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard says it will take a bumper offer to prise Alfredo Morelos away from Ibrox.

“As a club, we haven’t got a decision to make because a bid hasn’t come in. Will it? Possibly,” Gerrard said.

“However, if it does happen, it won’t happen late. If someone wants to spend a lot of money on a centre forward and they want to take my centre forward, they’d have to come early.

“If he did end up going, he would be impossible to replace with only days or weeks remaining in the window.”

08:00 UPDATE: Chelsea decisions

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard must keep four of his young guns at Stamford Bridge next season, says former Blues striker Tony Cascarino.

“I’ll be interested in what Frank does with someone like [Fikayo] Tomori, who he had at Derby, who was a Chelsea loanee to Derby last year,” Cascarino said.

“If you asked most Derby fans, he was their best player last year. I think it will be interesting on Mason Mount, what he does with Mason Mount.

“He’s got [Ruben] Loftus-Cheek, he’s got [Callum] Hudson-Odoi. So he’s got lots and lots of good players at his football club.”
