Trailer: new documentary telling story of the GoldenEye videogame – Film Stories

GoldenEra is a new documentary movie about the finest James Bond videogame of all time.

You whippersnappers out there won’t know this, but there was a time when games weren’t made available free to play, when it wasn’t all about Fortnite, and when millions of people forked out for a movie to game adaptation. How things have changed.

The Nintendo 64 videogame of the James Bond film GoldenEye remains, arguably, the best and most successful movie to videogame conversion of all time. And in the year that James Bond returns to cinema screens with No Time To Die, a documentary is being made and released that tells the story of the GoldenEye game.

It’s the work of writers Drew Roller and Brok Power, with Roller directing. And the trailer for the movie has been released, giving a taste as to what to expect.

You can follow the progress of the film, as it edges towards release, over at its website, here.
