Towie star James Argent is said to have asked Tyson Fury for help with losing weight.
The 31-year-old is currently trying to shed the pounds as he prepares to swim the The English Channel for the new Channel 4 show Sink or Swim.
And it appears he’s asking his celeb buddies for advice when it comes to his fitness regime.
According to The Sun, a friend of the reality star told the publication: ‘He has asked Tyson if he can help him shift the pounds because if he doesn’t do something drastic, his health is at risk.
‘He is great friends with Tyson, and he has agreed to help him out. Arg gets on much better when he is doing something he enjoys, like being in a boxing gym.’
They added: ‘Tyson has said he can give him tips and advice to train efficiently. He said diet and discipline was a key factor and that is where Arg really needs to sort himself out.’
The unlikely pair cemented their friendship when enjoying a night of karaoke together in Malaga.
And it sounds as though Gemma Collins’ on and off beau jumped at the chance to ask the heavy weight for some tips and tricks after he recently got back into the boxing ring.
Earlier this year, he shared a picture of himself down at the gym where he told his followers: ‘I’ve been warned I’m on “Death Row” because of my weight gain!
‘Thanks to my old friends @mranthonyyarde @tundeajayi9 today my life changes and I’m back in the boxing gym!’
This isn’t the only time Arg has spoken out about his weight, as he also recently thanked Love Island’s Wes Nelson for helping him train.
Sharing a topless picture of the pair, he grateful television personality said the weight is falling off him.
‘I’ve never worked this hard or been so committed to anything in my life!’ he revealed.
‘@Wes.nelson has been so supportive & has motivated me.
‘In 1 month we are swimming across the channel & leading our team to France in aid of @su2cuk #SinkOrSwim.’
And Wes was quick to leave a sweet comment, telling him: ‘My brother we got this ❤️.’
