Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho gives damning verdict on Steven Bergwijn injury

Son, meanwhile, fractured his arm in the 3-2 win over Aston Villa last month.

Despite the injuries, Mourinho remained positive about his team’s chances of progressing through the quarter-finals of the competition.

“We don’t have what I love to call, the box sharks; the players in our team who smell blood in the box and they just put the ball in the net,” said Mourinho.
