Love Island star Tommy Fury reportedly tried to woo TOWIE star Lauren Goodger before jetting off to the villa.
The 20-year-old boxer is said to have sent the 32-year-old a string of messages on Instagram begging her for a date.
It’s claimed that he began sliding into her DM’s in December last year and continued right up until April this year.
The hunk, who is the younger brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, was reportedly still with his ex-girlfriend Millie Roberts at the time.
A source told the Mirror: “Tommy was sending her flirty messages asking to meet up. They spent a lot of time talking on FaceTime, and she started to fancy him.
“She asked if he had a girlfriend. He said he couldn’t be more single. He’d say he couldn’t wait to meet up for a drink, but it never happened.
“He was really complimentary to her and was always saying how sexy she was. Lauren went off him romantically and they never got round to organising a date.”
The bombshell revelation comes amid Lauren’s appearance on E4’s Celebs Go Dating as she searches for love.

Lauren has had a highly public turbulent love life and previously engaged to fellow TOWIE star Mark Wright before.
The pair dated for 10 years from 2001 until 2012 and got engaged in 2011.
However, they called things off amid claims that Lauren had cheated on him, something she vehemently denies.
He later went on to marry Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan.
