After scoring twice in last night’s Uefa Europa League final Chelsea star Eden Hazard admitted that he is likely to leave the club this summer.
The Belgian netted a brace in the 4-1 win over Arsenal in Baku and when interviewed after the game he said: “I think it’s a goodbye, but in football you never know.
“We will decide in a few days – the only target in my mind was to win this final. Maybe now it is the time for a new challenge.”
The playmaker’s performance was his “golden goodbye” to Chelsea, says The Times and The Guardian, while the Daily Mail reports that the final victory was “sealed with a kiss” from the Stamford Bridge talisman.
The Sun calls Hazard the “Real deal” after delivering the perfect farewell gift – the Europa League trophy – ahead of his expected move to Real Madrid.
