TikTok sensation Addison Rae has signed a deal with Netflix following her acting debut in He’s All That.

The internet star, 20, has been signed by the streaming giant to a multi-picture deal.

The Obsessed singer will now have projects developed for her specifically to star in and executive produce.

‘Getting the opportunity to work with Netflix was such a pinch me moment and now to be able to continue the relationship is beyond my wildest dreams,’ Addison said.

‘I’m thrilled to be able to collaborate with this incredible team and am excited to develop projects while continuing to strengthen my skills as an actress.’

Netflix’s director of family film Naketha Mattocks commented: ‘Addison’s Rae’s charm and promise is undeniable as evidenced by He’s All That and her already passionate fan base. We’re thrilled to be part of this next phase of her burgeoning career as an actress.’

This new collaboration hopes to bring even more viewers to the streaming platform, thanks to Addison’s popularity and online following of more than 80million.

Addison made her acting debut in He’s All That in August, the gender-swap remake of She’s All That, a 1999 romcom in which a high school jock makes a bet with his friends that he can transform a geek into prom queen, but he ends up falling in love with her.

Addison plays a social media influencer who tries to transform one of the school’s outcasts (Tanner Buchanan) into her prom king.

Netflix estimated that more than 55m households would watch He’s All That within its first month of release.

The film has reached number one on the site in 78 countries, including Brazil, France and Saudi Arabia.

Addison described the movie’s release on Instagram as ‘all her wildest dreams coming true’ and said having her first movie out is ‘so surreal.’

He’s All That streams now on Netflix.
