This Morning fans weren’t impressed by Chris Tarrant’s attitude on the show this morning, as he discussed his new show.
Ahead of the new season of Extreme Railways, he joined Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on the sofa for a natter.
At the end of the interview, Ruth handed him a “Be Kind” keyring in a campaign against bullying and cruelty in society.
Chris begrudgingly held up the rainbow-striped keyring to the camera, and a couple of viewers thought he “threw” it back to Ruth when he was done.
Taking to Twitter, they blasted his behaviour on the show and felt he’d been rude throughout the interview.
One said: “I like Chris Tarrant but even I thought that was a bit disrespectful just throwing back the ‘Be Kind’ keyring to Ruth.”
A second added: “Oh my god I just rewinded the TV and he literally threw the keyring back at Ruth.”
While a third remarked: “Chris Tarrant clearly can’t ‘Be Kind’ chucking the campaign keyring back at Ruth! Such a bitter man!”
The former Who Wants to Be a Millionaire quizmaster also made it clear he would never venture into the I’m A Celeb jungle.
