This Morning and Loose Women CANCELLED: Viewers outrage as daytime TV shows not on

While This Morning and Loose Women are ITV staples, airing respectively at 10.30am and 12.30pm every day, they won’t be on today. It comes as the channel is making way for Rugby World Cup as England takes on the US today with coverage airing from 11am to 2pm.

The programmes were also cancelled on Monday for the Wales versus Georgia match.

However, some fans aren’t pleased that they won’t be getting their usual fix of the popular daytimes shows and have taken to Twitter to complain.

“I am disappointed there is no #ThisMorning tomorrow despite the fact they could have done a 9:25 to 11am edition. After all, @ITV are still uncertain what could fill the eventual void. Use it to their advantage,” one opined.

While another fumed: “Can’t wait for the rugby to be over. Interrupting @thismorning #ThisMorning #Thursday.”

Holly and Phillip burst into laughter at the innuendo and joked it was the Strictly “curse”.

“Oh my god, it’s the Strictly curse already. One week, one week!” Phillip laughed.

“Didn’t expect that this morning,” Kevin then added.

The show also shared the moment on Twitter, captioning the video: “That was a close call, wasn’t it @keviclifton!”

“It’s OK @AnnekaRice, it was just a phone in his pocket… #ThisMorning.”

There were more cheeky antics on the programme yesterday as Phillip and Holly interviewed sex, love and relationships coach Camilla Constance who couples pay to watch them have sex.

Camilla explained how she observed the bedroom goings-on while holding “their energy”.

He jokingly asked her: “Do you hold anything else?”

This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am and Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm.
