Nothing makes our ears prick up more than when we hear about new skincare launches – even more so when we discover that they’re offering ingredient-packed products at purse-friendly prices.

And no, you don’t need to trawl through random websites to track them down. You’ll actually find some of the hottest, just-landed skincare brands on your local high street.

Yep, these latest launches can all be found at a Boots near you, inside the all-new beauty and wellness halls packed full of your cult favourites.

We’ve rounded up the new brands worth keeping an eye out for on your next beauty shop…

Glow

Arriving in Boots in April 2020, this new launch is all about helping you get luminous skin in a breeze. There are eight products in the Glow capsule collection and they can be used on all skin types. Best of all, they’re incredibly affordable – all coming in at just £4 or less. The line-up includes Glow Moisturising Cream, £4 – a soothing and hydrating cream that’s like one big hug for your face; Glow Cleansing Stick, £4, which melts away make-up and purifies skin; and Glow Eye Cream, £4, which helps to nourish the delicate eye area so you look like you’ve had the best sleep of your life.

Vitamin C

If you’ve missed the memo on the benefits of Vitamin C (it’s worth swotting up on) you’ll want to try the new Boots Vitamin C range – a four-product capsule collection packed full of this radiance-boosting ingredient that promises to give you brighter skin in just 14 days. Our favourites from the new drop include the Vitamin C Cleansing Gel, £4 that gives you a deep cleanse while reducing excess oil without over-drying. One reviewer wrote that after using it for two weeks she noticed, “significant difference in my skin. It looks lighter and more radiant and it has started to clear my spots as well.”

Another one of our top picks is Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Mask, £4. Pop it on before bed and it will nourish your skin as you sleep. One user praised its hydrating powers, saying, “This has helped with dryness no end. My skin is more clarified, even and super, super soft.”

Ingredients

We are pretty psyched by this new Boots skincare line that is – as you may have guessed by the name – all about the hard-working ingredients; full of the stuff that actually works and at affordable prices giving some of the more expensive brands a run for their money. Offering targeted solutions to skin problems, such as acne, ageing and pigmentation, the eight products in this line are game-changing. Some of our top picks include Glycolic Acid Toner, £5 – an alpha hydroxy acid that chemically exfoliates the skin by penetrating deeper into pores and dissolving oil build-up, giving you a clear and even skintone. Spot sufferers should try Salicylic Acid Serum, £7, one of the best-known blemish-fighting ingredients around that tackles blocked pores. And Hemp Seed Oil, £6 has anti-ageing, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits – for under a tenner, it’s definitely worth adding to your beauty routine.

Visit the GLAMOUR Beauty Festival in London from 20-22 March to see Boots Zone which will be packed out with demos, samples and treatments from some of the best makeup and skincare brands. You can check out new launches such as Vitamin C and Ingredients collections and cult products Sleek Makeup, Soap & Glory and No7, plus don’t miss plenty more big-name brands and beauty treats on the day.
