The Logie Awards are the hottest ticket on the Australian showbusiness calendar.
And even some of the country’s biggest stars couldn’t secure a plus-one, with their partners forced to watch the events unfold on TV from their hotel room.
Sophie Monk can certainly relate to this, after being unable to get her boyfriend Joshua Gross a ticket TV’s night of nights.

While many expected Sophie and Joshua to make their red carpet debut on Sunday night, the handsome businessman was nowhere to be seen.
Despite Joshua dressing up in a tuxedo for the occasion and posing for Instagram photos with Sophie before the ceremony, she arrived solo for the event.
When asked where her boyfriend was, the Love Island Australia host told Daily Mail Australia: ‘He’s actually up in the room!’
Fortunately, the couple were reunited later in the evening for Channel Nine’s official after-party.

Proving himself to be a gentlemen, Mike later slipped away from Nine and joined Jessica among members of the general public.
Sadly though, the beauty appeared a little unimpressed as he returned to her side after hours sat waiting with a female friend.

Although he was invited to walk the red carpet alongside seven of his MAFS co-stars, the group were forced to watch the show from a private Nine ‘talent dinner’ nearby.
Which, again, Jessica was unable to join him at.

However, some stars did manage to secure a space inside for their loved ones.
Noticeably, lucky Nine entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins was joined by both partner Virginia Burmeister and son Christian inside the event.
