The nominations for the SAG Awards 2020 are in!

Awards season is fast approaching which means nominations are coming in thick and fast. The latest to be announced? The SAG Awards 2020.

It comes as no surprise to see Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood coming up trumps with nominations in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role and Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

Elsewhere, we’re thrilled to see Charlize Theron and Margot Robbie up for awards in their explosive new film, Bombshell. The drama, scheduled for release in January, is based on the real-life scandal of Roger Ailes who was forced to step down from his 15-year tenure as CEO and chairman of Fox News after more than twenty accounts of workplace harassment were filed against him. After the disappointment of this year’s Golden Globe nominations for women, we’re so here for this celebration of a female-led film.

Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson have both been nominated for their outstanding performances in Marriage Story. Taron Egerton is also hotly tipped for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role in Rocketman, and The Irishman’s Al Pacino and Joe Pesco are up for nomination in their supporting roles.
