The most romantic hotels in London to book in time for Valentine’s Day

Whether you like it or not, the most romantic day of the year is fast approaching. We have to admit, we’ve let it slip under the radar a bit in past years (all that mushy stuff kinda makes us want to vom), but this year, we’re going all out. You don’t have to do something cringe-inducing to celebrate – it’s just an excuse to treat yourself, right?

If you’re not in the market for buying a gift for your boyfriend or girlfriend (it’s okay if you’re more about sentimental gifts than materialistic ones), booking a night away in one of the most romantic hotels in London is a sure-fire way to impress. Staycations are the bomb – they make you feel refreshed and relaxed, just as though you’ve been away, but you’re only a short Uber ride away from home. Fun and eco-friendly. Seriously – there’s nothing better than being a tourist in your own city.

Feeling totally and utterly convinced by the prospect of spending Valentine’s Day in one of the capital’s most romantic hotels (accompanied by room service and Love Island), we decided to do a bit of research into the coolest and chicest hotels to retreat to. Our key finding? London is absolutely packed full of the things. There’s so. Much. Choice.

From the newly opened Hoxton in Southwark (their rooftop bar and restaurant boasts some of the best views in the city) to the stylish Artist Residence or the cosy and quirky Zetter Townhouse, the possibilities really are endless. So what are you waiting for? Have a scroll, choose your favourite and surprise your other half with the booking confirmation on Valentine’s Day morning. Brownie points incoming.
