The Masked Singer‘s Hedgehog, who was revealed to be comedian Jason Manford, came in second on tonight’s nail-biting grand finale.
Hedgehog beat Octopus aka operatic legend Katherine Jenkins to come in third, but didn’t managed to bag the top spot, which went to Queen Bee – Girls Aloud member Nicola Roberts.
Speaking about his time on the show, he said: “Four people know who you are backstage. It’s like MI5.
“I have kept it a secret from my children,” he told Joel Dommett.

“They have found out the same time as you that daddy is doing the show!
“When you walked out here [pointing to the stage] to a crowd who is loving it – you walk out with confidence.”
A series of clues pointed at the fact that it was Jason, 38, under the mask this whole time.
One of the many clues was that the celebrity behind the mask “had a job which means he died every night at 8.30pm”.
This convinced fans further that Jason is the Masked Singer, due to his role of Adolfo Pirelli – a murdered character – in a 2012 production of Sweeney Todd.
And fans were over the moon with Jason’s appearance and couldn’t get over his singing skills.
“Jason Manford beating Katherine Jenkins, Cee-Lo Green, Kelis and Jake Shears in a singing competition (not to mention Sir Teddy Sheringham!) is my kind of banter! Nicola Roberts was awesome though,” one remarked.
“F**king hell! Jason Manford can sing,” another chipped in.
And a third wrote: “Jason Manford take a bow son, take a bow.”
