The Fantastic Four Reboot Might Just Bring Back Norrin Radd's Silver Surfer


New rumors indicate that Norrin Radd, the original Silver Surfer, will make an appearance in the MCU’s TheFantastic Four. Recently, Marvel just announced that Julia Garner will play as Shalla-Bal, a character many fans associate with a version of the Silver Surfer.



Details remain scarce, but the source of the rumor, Daniel Richtman, has hinted that both Radd and Shalla-Bal will be featured in the storyline. This development could suggest a more complex narrative than initially anticipated, potentially exploring multiple facets of the Silver Surfer lore.

Further adding intrigue to the casting discussions, actor LaKeith Stanfield recently shared his thoughts on social media, expressing surprise that he was not cast in the role. He said:

“Thought it was going to be me but ig.”

Richtman’s recent insights suggest that a Silver Surfer-themed project on the drawing board and it might take various forms including a special presentation slated to premiere before The Fantastic Four and a potential series on Disney+. Although none of these spin-offs have received formal confirmation.



Joseph Quinn Steps into the MCU as The Human Torch

Meanwhile, Joseph Quinn, who is stepping into the role of Johnny Storm, also known as The Human Torch, shared his enthusiasm and the challenge of following in the footsteps of actors like Chris Evans and Michael B. Jordan. Quinn expressed reverence for Evans’s portrayal and articulated a determined vision to bring his own unique flair to the character.


I remember really enjoying Chris Evans’s performance as Johnny in the previous films, and it felt like this would be a really exciting opportunity
; I was absolutely signed up. I mean, you’re going to make it your own.”

Quinn also shared his thoughts on the unique approach the film is taking, amid concerns of superhero fatigue clouding the MCU. He expressed great admiration for director Matt Shakman and the assembled cast, praising the script as “brilliant.”


“I think that with the story of the Fantastic Four, it feels like we want to get this right.
There are aspects of it that are very different to other Marvel films. That felt very compelling to me. And again, going back to who’s involved, Matt [Shakman], of course, the director, I think is brilliant, and the cast, and I’ve read it and the script is brilliant.
It’s really brilliant. I’m delighted to have this opportunity.”
