Tesco has slashed the price of its curry meal deal for two to £5

IF you’re craving Indian food, Tesco is currently letting shoppers pick up a curry meal deal for two for only £5.

The offer is available in stores across the country and on Tesco’s website until March 6.

The meal deal means you get two sides and two mains at a discount of up to £6.50, as the sides usually cost up to £2.25 each and the mains £3.50 each.

You can choose between seven sides including chicken pakora and onion bhajis, while you can pick between five mains such as chicken jalfrezi and chicken tikka masala.

The deal was first spotted by users of deal-sharing website hotukdeals, who said it used to cost £9 and they’re loving it.

One user wrote: “Really, really good deal this and the mains are delicious. Rated the best fresh Indian meals.”

While another person said “I’ve got to wait for my local Tesco to restock the shelves as they had been virtually emptied yesterday lunchtime. Great value for the money.”

Tesco has more than 3,400 stores in the UK. You can find your nearest branch using its online store finder tool.

In a separate offer, Tesco is currently also letting online shoppers pick up three Indian mains for £6 or one for £2.50, giving shoppers a discount of £1.50.

This deal is available on Tesco’s website until March 3.
