Mum-of-three Bristol asked her youngest: “What are you drinking?”

Atlee replied: “I’m drinking wine.”

It was cause for celebration in the Palin house after Bristol spent her first ever Christmas without her brood.

Making things extra tough was her split from boyfriend Janson Moore.

Just days ago The Sun Online exclusively revealed the couple’s relationship was over, only two months after they made it official.

The daughter of former politician Sarah Palin shared details about her “bittersweet” holiday on Instagram.

Bristol flew from her Texas home to her native Alaska to visit her mother, sister Willow and her two cuddly babies.

She wrote on Instagram: “Bittersweet Christmas without my babes for the first time (ever).

“Thankful my sis has these sweet peas to love on.”

Willow gave birth to twins in November, a few months after Bristol failed to attend her baby shower.

Bristol, the mom of Tripp, 11, with ex-fiance Levi Johnston, and Sailor and Atlee with ex-husband Dakota Meyer, insisted she was being baptised at the time.

However, fans suspected there was more to the story behind her absence.

Last year, the sisters reportedly had a major falling-out, and Bristol skipped Willow’s wedding though she had been planning to attend.

Now, it appears the girls are back on good terms.

Though she cuddled with her nieces, Bristol said she felt “lonely” without her kids.

Her mother tried to cheer her up, commenting: “Miss your babes, Bri, but so thankful you made it up here. We love you so much!”

Bristol may have been unable to see her kids due to her custody arrangements with Levi and Dakota.

After two engagements to Levi over the course of their five-year, on-again, off-again relationship, the two ultimately called it quits in 2010.

The Dancing With the Stars alum met Dakota a few years later, and the two got engaged in mid-2015.

They had their first child together, daughter Sailor, a few months after they split.

But the couple got back together, and they married in 2016. Bristol delivered their second daughter, Atlee, the following year.

After just two years of marriage, they split in 2018.
