Taylor Swift has revealed exactly what she thought about appearing in the upcoming film adaptation of Cats, the musical.

Due to be released later this month, Taylor plays Bombalurina in Tom Hooper’s upcoming film adaption of the Broadway musical – and the trailer, which sees fur superimposed onto the bodies of A-listers and cats with boobs for some reason, pretty much set the internet alight upon release.

So it’s nice to know that Tay thinks it’s pretty weird, too.

In conversation with Andrew Lloyd Weber for British Vogue, he asked about whether she would consider a proper career in acting.

She simply replied: ‘I have no idea.

‘I really had an amazing time with Cats. I think I loved the weirdness of it.

‘I loved how I felt I’d never get another opportunity to be like this in my life.’

Taylor also revealed it was a great experience to work with ‘lovely’ Dame Judi Dench.

‘Someone walked up to me with this kind of gummy candy and I was like, “Oh, I’ve never had this before, this must be British candy, this is amazing.”

‘I was raving about this candy so much, and Judi must have overheard me, because the next day I got to my dressing room and there was a signed photo from Judi and, like, six bags of it.’

Ugh, friendship goals.

Earlier today, Jason Derulo – who plays Rum Tum Tugger – revealed co-star Rebel Wilson had the whole cast in stitches with her crude humour on set.

Dobbing in the Aussie comedian to the hosts of Sydney-based The Kylie and Jackie O Show, Jason revealed: ‘She is just hilarious.

‘Basically, the entire time she was doing all of these p***y jokes – just like you do.’

‘I don’t know how many are going to make the movie, man, but she was going in on all the double entendres jokes,’ he said.

Cats is released in UK cinemas on 20 December.
