TALK OF THE TOWN: Countdown star and mother-to-be Rachel Riley never loses her cool despite temperatures soaring
It was the probably the hottest day ever in the UK but pregnant Rachel Riley still managed to look as cool as a cucumber.
As temperatures soared above 38C on Thursday, the Countdown star radiated contentment as she went shopping in London with dancer husband Pasha Kovalev – just weeks after their wedding in Las Vegas.
The couple, who are expecting their first child in December, have been together since 2014 after meeting the previous year when they were paired together on BBC1 show Strictly Come Dancing.
Amid the heat, Rachel, 33, was spotted gazing down at her sparkling wedding ring – no doubt counting her blessings.

Strictly head judge Shirley Ballas’s huge BBC pay rise last year put her on £250,000 a year – which may be handy now she’s had to knock another £200,000 off the luxury Los Angeles home she is trying to sell.
Ballas, 58, wants to move to the UK with toyboy Daniel Taylor, 44, but has now had to cut the price by £400,000 to £2.2 million. ‘This is getting in the way of things,’ says my source.
