Syd Little reflects on ‘happy times’ as he breaks silence after friend Eddie Large’s death


Eddie and Syd formed their comedic double act in 1963, and the pair have been known as the iconic Little And Large ever since.

Their comedy career began after the pair won their edition of Opportunity Knocks in 1971 before they went on to perform their legendary impressions on their Who Do You Do series.

The performer decided to retire from his comedy career after he was told by doctors due to his heart problems.

The star underwent a heart transplant a year after he was rushed to hospital in 2002, where Patsy, was informed that he “may not survive”.
