Susan Boyle: ‘Very surreal’ Star makes BIG announcement after BGT Final 2019 performance

Susan Boyle, 58, stunned viewers with her vocals when she returned to the Britain’s Got Talent stage with Michael Ball, 56, to sing A Million Dreams from hit musical The Greatest Showman. However, the star had yet another surprise in store for fans as she announced she would be appearing in Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions. During a conversation with presenters Anthony McPartlin, 43, and Declan Donnelly, 43, Susan spoke out about her emotional comeback to the ITV talent competition after ten years. She divulged: “It feels very surreal being back after ten years.

“I’m at home on this stage. I haven’t changed much!”

Ant and Dec then took the opportunity to reveal Susan will be making a big comeback to the show which made her famous in an all-star spin-off version of the series.

The Scottish singer appeared on the American rendition of the programme earlier this year and narrowly missed out on winning the top prize.

Susan impressed BGT fans with her operatic performance on the show, which aired just before fellow singer Colin Thackery was announced as the winner.

One viewer tweeted: “Susan Boyle is looking absolutely stunning. She is getting younger by the day. We adore you Susan. Good for you… Voice of an angel.”

Another addressed Susan’s duet partner Michael, gushing: “Wow that was amazing such a lovely and beautiful duet of A Million Dreams with yourself and Susan Boyle me and my mum loved it.”

Unfortunately, some viewers suggested Susan should have performed the song on her own, with one writing: “Susan Boyle’s beautiful voice was totally drowned by Michael Ball’s.”

A second suggested: “Did Susan Boyle know Michael Ball was joining her for a duet?”

Susan first won the hearts of the nation when she entered Britain’s Got Talent as a contestant in 2009.

The star’s first audition went viral when she took on Les Miserables classic, I Dreamed A Dream.

She recently showed off her cheeky side on Instagram while addressing the unfortunate hashtag #susanalbumparty, which was used to promote her album on social media back in 2012.

Referencing the awkward slip-up in view of her 33,000 followers, Susan said: “Hi, Susan Boyle here, some of you might know me from THAT hashtag.”

The star then mischievously winked at the camera as she joked: “What a party that was!”

After speaking out about the social media error, Susan focused her attention on congratulating fellow Scottish hitmaker Lewis Capaldi, 22, on his number one album.

She continued: “Right Mr Capaldi, let’s discuss that supergroup.

“Come on over. All the best to you and your new album, hope it does really well.”

The musician added: “There’s something in the West Lothian water here”, prompting the video to finish with a new #BoyleAndCapaldi hashtag.
