Surveyor hires new senior commercial valuer

Allied Surveyors Scotland has appointed David Harvey as a senior commercial valuer in its Edinburgh office.

Harvey, 43, joins from the Lothian Valuation Joint Board where he was a senior valuer for 15 years, latterly as divisional valuer.

He will be based out of Allied Surveyors’ Walker Street office in the west end.

Harvey said: “This is an exciting move to one of Scotland’s largest firms of Chartered Surveyors and I look forward to providing a dedicated commercial valuation service for our wide range of clients.”

Allied Surveyors Scotland has 32 offices including three regional centres in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness. Former Scotland rugby internationalist Gavin Kerr was recruited in June as a senior building surveyor.

Chris Highton, director and vice-chairman of Allied Surveyors Scotland, said: “We are continuing to invest in our business and David represents a vital addition in our efforts to service our commercial property clients.”
