SUNDAY Brunch viewers were shocked this morning when a guest screamed “F***” live on air.
Tim Lovejoy and actress Sian Clifford were playing a game where they had to throw teabags into a cup on the gentle morning show – but she loudly swore after missing the mug.
Sian, who plays Claire in the BBC comedy-drama Fleabag, quickly released what she had said, covering her mouth in shock.
Chef Simon Rimmer was heard gasping: “Ooh Blimey” while Tim was left temporarily lost for words.
The 50-year-old host later regained his composure, saying: “Can I just apologise for that language?” before quickly changing the subject.
But while the hosts treated the outburst seriously, the same could not be said for the other guests, who were collapsing in laughter over on their own table.
Viewers also saw the funny side, with one tweeting: “Yessss!!!!!!! Sian shouted F***!!!!!!”
Another wrote: “There goes Sian’s TV career.”
A third joked: “You can’t beat a good ‘f***’ on a Sunday morning.”
Others treated the outburst more solemnly, with one sharing: “And there goes Sian’s TV career.”
