However, two years ago he implemented a strict training regime and diet that’s seen him sculpt his body into its enviable shape.

In December 2017, he wrote about his regime with personal trainer David Green, saying: “Session 2 workout is more strength focused and mainly composed of compound lifts in contrast to my hypertrophy days.

“I’m working at around 75% – 85% on these days and although I have no specific number I have to hit on paper, I do have a specific rep target I’m aiming for on the first set of each exercise.

“If I hit on paper, I do have a specific rep target I’m aiming for one the first set of each exercise. If I hit it, I add weight the following week, if I fail to hit it I simply keep the weight the same the following week and aim to come closer or beat it.

“Note – with that in mind I’m never training to absolute failure, my coach has me working to a reps in reserve system (RIR) and rarely asks me to push to failure.

“Most of my lifts on strength focused days are performed with 2 reps left in the tank so I’m fresh for my next session and maintain a high training volume across the week.

“This is particularly important if you’re following a full body training set up like me.”

The hunk has managed to maintain this training regime alongside being an actor and dad-of-two to daughter Marnie, two, and Milo, nine months with wife Liz Marsland.

He’s no stranger to stripping off either – and was known on the set on Emmerdale as the Phantom Flasher because of how often he was without his clothes.

This confidence also let him star in 2018’s All New Full Monty, an ITV special where a cast of celebs got naked to raise awareness for male cancers.

The actor’s workout routine has increased with the inclusive of Strictly Come Dancing.

Kelvin became a surprise favourite to win the whole show – even though he was a last minute replacement for Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing.
