Strictly Come Dancing star Karen Hauer has reportedly split from boyfriend David Webb after two years of dating.
The professional dancer, 38, and opera singer David, 35, parted ways last week, sources claimed, and David has since moved out of Karen’s London home.
They had allegedly talked about marriage just weeks before ‘finishing on good terms’ after agreeing the relationship had ‘run its course’.
‘Karen and David have quietly ended their relationship,’ a source told The Sun.
‘It finished on good terms, they have a mutual respect for one another and there were no other parties involved.’
The insider added: ‘Karen has been able to throw herself back into preparing for the next series of Strictly and has told her friends she’s in a really good place.’
The rumoured split comes just weeks before the launch of Strictly’s 2020 series, with sources claiming Karen is being supported by her co-stars from the dancing competition.
Karen and David met in 2017 after her split from fellow professional Kevin Clifton, 37 – who is now dating his former Strictly dance partner Stacey Dooley.
Karen and Kevin confirmed the end of their three-year marriage in March 2018, with Kevin saying at the time: ‘We’re still the best of friends – we’ve got a lot of love and respect for each other.’
The Venezuelan dancer had previously called David her ‘rock’ and complimented his ‘beautiful soul’.
She told Hello magazine last year: ‘It’s so nice to have someone that understands and accepts me, doesn’t judge and doesn’t try to change me in any way.
‘Everyone just falls in love with him too, because he has such a beautiful soul.’
