Spending her days rehearsing for the new season of Strictly Come Dancing, it’s no surprise Catherine Tyldesley has started to suffer from a little chafing.
But her solution to the problem – applying Deep Heat to her thighs – had an unwanted effect on her nether regions.
The 35-year-old revealed over social media that the pain relief spray had spread to her “special places”, resulting in massive discomfort.
On Instagram, the former Coronation Street star shared a pic of her sore thighs, which were covered in bruises after hours on the dance floor.
Warning others to take it easy with the Deep Heat rub, she said: “I put Deep Heat on my thighs today.
“Don’t do that. It migrates. Let’s just say I was feeling very fresh. Very uncomfortable.”
Over Twitter, she added: “Note to self… do not accidentally get Deep Heat in your ‘special places’. #fresh.”
Thankfully, the mum-of-one managed to recover from the painful injury and laced up her dancing shoes once again.
In the studios, she struck a pose with a mock-up of the legendary Strictly Glitterball Trophy – making it clear that her eye is on the prize.
Talking about the energy in rehearsals, she said: “I feel so emotional and proud of us all — we’ve all got our own hang-ups and issues.”
It has yet to be revealed which professional dancer she’ll be coupled up with, but two major names are out of the running.
Both Gorka Marquez and Graziano Di Prima announced yesterday they’d been dropped from the main line-up of pro-dancers.
