Strictly 2019 professionals in shock after Graziano makes startling admission: ‘Willy?’

The Strictly Come Dancing 2019 professional dancers were tasked with a cheeky game of “It Takes Who?” on spin-off show It Takes Two this week. The dancers were given a fact about one of their co-stars and challenged to guess who it applied to. Dianne Buswell, 30, read the first question in the game aloud, which was: “Which pro had a dog called Willy?” The question instantly prompted giggles from both Anton Du Beke, 53, and Kevin Clifton, 36, due to the double entendre of the monicker.

Neil Jones, 37, then got busy trying to figure out who gave their pet that name.

Ruling AJ Pritchard, 24, out, he said: “I’ve never heard that AJ’s had a dog.”

The latter chimed in and shouted: “Yo, Willy!” adding, “No, it’s not a British person is it?”

Neil went on to suggest Kevin could be the correct answer, as he added: “I just think Kevin seems like he would have a dog called Willy.”

However, Kevin quickly put an end to the speculation by saying: “I’m gonna go with Amy [Dowden]. Willy seems like a nice, friendly name and that’s Amy.”

The ballroom and Latin champion then did an impression of Welsh dancer, 28, continuing: “‘And I called him Willy, I did,’ that’s what she’d say.”

Amy seemed to disagree as she pointed out: “It could be Graziano [di Prima] because he grew up on a farm.”

Her assumptions were soon proven correct as the Italian star was revealed as the right answer.

“Come on! It’s obviously me,” 25-year-old Graziano exclaimed.

The professional dancers were all in shock over the revelation, as AJ responded: “You’re kidding me!”

Karen Hauer, 37, also seemed perplexed by Graziano’s announcement, replying: “Willy, Graziano? Willy?”

Janette Manrara, 35, added: “Who has a dog in Italy named Willy? It’s normally like, Fabiano.”

Adding to the hilarity, Graziano recalled: “I was screaming of him like, ‘Willy, Willy, where are you?’”

Dianne concluded the jokes by saying: “It was a sausage dog, wasn’t it?”

The pro dancers are all currently preparing to take to the dance floor with their celebrity partners for Strictly’s Movie Week, which airs tomorrow.

Fortunately, Neil Jones and his partner Alex Scott managed to find some time to relax as they enjoyed an evening out last night after training for their romantic Rumba.

Strictly Come Dancing 2019 continues tomorrow at 7.10pm on BBC One.
