As he makes his foray into really, really scary movies, Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard has celebrated the premiere of The Turning.

The 17-year-old owned the red carpet on Tuesday night at the swanky event held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, as he posed alongside his co-stars.

While we’re used to seeing the actor and musician getting chummy with the likes of Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour on the red carpet, this time he repped it with a few new faces.

Hugging his adorable co-star, nine-year-old Brooklynn Prince (who plays his young sister Flora), Finn (who stars as rebellious Miles) was looking smart in a double-breasted blazer with a blue shirt underneath.

The film, directed by Floria Sigismondi, is a retelling of Henry James’s 1898 novella The Turn Of The Screw. It focuses on Kate (Mackenzie Davis) who is hired as the governess of a manor housing two rich kids, Miles and Flora, left orphaned after the sudden deaths of their parents.

Soon it becomes quite obvious the house is pretty flippin’ haunted and we’re sure you can put two and two together to figure out where this tale is going…

Scaresville – population: you.

It’s been a massive year for Finn – who is set to reprise his role of Mike Wheeler in Stranger Things season four later this year – which saw him star in It: Chapter 2, with an upcoming role in the Ghostbusters reboot under his belt.

When it comes to the Netflix series, we’re in the dark as to what to expect from the Duffer Brothers in the next instalment, but it seems Stranger Things fans should keep an eye on Will Byers star Noah Schnapp for spoilers because he’s the cast member most likely to accidentally spill all the deets.

The 15-year-old joined his co-stars at Sunday night’s SAG Awards and Dustin Henderson actor Gaten Matarazzo dropped Noah in it as the pair looked suspicious AF discussing the next chapter of the show. The duo were undecided over when filming will kick off, revealing they do know then seemingly backtracking after realising they may have already said too much.

Throwing Noah under the bus while speaking to E! News, Gaten turned to his co-star and grinned: ‘If anyone’s going to spoil something it might be you.’

‘Oh… I mean, I don’t want to answer that. I can’t say anything,’ Noah, in a very jazzy light blue tux, stuttered. But what does this all mean?

Does Will have the biggest plotline to spoil OR is Noah just a blabbermouth?

The Turning is in cinemas Friday.
