Drum and bass legends Chase & Status are rumoured to be the collaborators, and fans are going wild as a festival line-up has added more fuel to the fire.

This summer, Cornwall will host Boardmasters music festival, which features an incredible line-up that includes Stormzy and Chase & Status as headliners and fans are hopeful that this is where the artists will debut their new song.

Fans took to Tik Tok to share their excitement for the potential link up:

One said: “Stormzy on D&B yes!!”

“Excuse me I need to see this Live” a second gushed.

“They might perform together can’t wait” added a third.

The electronic duo from London includes Saul Milton and Will Kennard, and having crossed paths in 2003 at university the pair haven’t looked back.

They have since released six studio albums and have had many hit songs, such as Baddadan and Disconnect, becoming trailblazers in the D&B space.

Chase & Status broke into mainstream music by teaming up with major artists such as Becky Hill, Rihanna, and Snoop Dogg.

The duo have also made waves in the UK rap scene, collaborating with some of the country’s most renowned rappers, including Kano, Dizzee Rascal and Tinie Tempah – so it only makes sense to bring grime legend Stormzy into the mix.

Stormzy, originally known for his famous freestyles, has claimed his place in the rap game with chart-toppers like Big For Your Boots and Vossi Bop.

The three time Brit Awards winner has worked with a wide range of artists, from Little Mix to Ed Sheeran, and most recently with singer-songwriter Raye for the track The Weekend.

Both artists boast an incredible amount of collaborations under their belt and fans are now eagerly awaiting to see whether a Stormzy and Chase & Status link up will happen this year.
