Steph then gave an insight into how complaints were received at BBC Breakfast.
She replied: “Yeah, our editor on Breakfast used to say to us, ‘Anyone who is emailing in at 6am to complain’, because that’s when we were on air.
Quoting her former boss, Steph continued: “‘Seriously, don’t worry about it, because they’ve got nothing else going on in their lives’.”
Agreeing with the editor’s attitude, Gemma responded: “If they don’t know you personally, don’t take it personal!”
