Stacey Solomon's boyfriend Joe Swash opens up on coronavirus symptoms: 'In a bad way'

Loose Women panelist Stacey Solomon, 30, supported her beau Joe Swash, 38, throughout his time on Dancing On Ice, before he went on to win the competition earlier this year. But the former actor has now revealed how he was struck down by sickness and fever in the final week, which he believes to be coronavirus.

His comments come after Stacey revealed last month that Joe was confined to his bed after falling ill from an ear injury.

But the TV personality has opened up about his condition and admitted he was in a “bad way”.

“In the final week of the competition I was really ill, I had a bad ear, I was being sick quite a lot, I had fever,” Joe explained to The Mirror.

“I think I may have had corona in the last week of Dancing On Ice.”

“But I’m quite pleased because now he won’t find out that I caved, gotta find somewhere to hide it until Easter,” she added, referring to the Easter eggs she’d bought earlier in the day.

The coronavirus outbreak has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Since its emergence, the virus has killed more than 88,000 people worldwide and has infected more than 1,482,001, across 209 countries and territories.

The UK Government previously declared a nationwide lockdown and has told the public to remain indoors in an attempt to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Meanwhile, Stacey had to fight back the tears after she got emotional on Instagram yesterday.

The TV personality revealed she was reading through messages on Twitter and said she came across a thread where a social media user praised her.

The mum-of-three had to sit outside as she became overwhelmed with emotion.

Speaking via her Instagram stories, Stacey told her three million followers: “I’ve just had to take myself outside because I look like a crazy person. I was just laying with the pickle [baby Rex] while he takes a nap reading through messages.
