“You know when you’re sort of having to ask tricky questions sometimes, but you’ve also got to have dinner with them after and like, stay in their house and ask if you can have the heating on or whatever?”
She continued: “It’s funny because you sort of really become fond of people that you wouldn’t have necessarily thought you’d click with.
“And, you know, in other cases it’s like, I thought we’d have a bit more in common and we’re on totally different pages here.”
The presenter went on to say that although she doesn’t always agree with the viewpoints of the families she films with, she likes that the programme “encourages debate”.
